The interview of Ruben Rugendo, Bojilo Barrantes, Jimenez, and Pablo Garcia took place at Patterson Farm in China Grove, North Carolina. The interviewees were born in Mexico and work in the United States for 8 months each year. The interviewees were employed as agricultural laborers planting and picking produce.
