Description

In this last of three interviews, former newspaper columnist and food editor for the Charlotte Observer Eudora Garrison recounts her memories of growing up in the Providence area of Charlotte, North Carolina during the early twentieth century. She describes the Providence community as rural at the time, but valuing education. Ms. Garrison also discusses her own education, her family's history, and notable Providence residents including the Audrey and the Kell families.
