Anna L. Heafner, Eunice "Dolly" Hickman, and Maude Pratt were interviewed in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Heafner was a 73-year-old at the time of interview. She was employed as a science teacher at Fort Mill schools, Charlotte City schools, and at Charlotte Country Day School for 25 years. Maude Pratt was a 73-year-old woman at the time of interview. She was born in Steele Creek, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She was employed as a fifth grade teacher at Steele Creek Elementary School for over three decades.
