Jane Bradley Kuykendall describes her early experience playing basketball in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Kuykendall discusses various aspects that have evolved in womens basketball including their uniforms, rules and regulations, and the community’s varying opinions on whether women should be permitted to play sports. Mrs. Kuykendall also recalls attending Queens College during the 1930s when it was an all women's institution, alongside the restrictions that entailed for the students.
