Description

Bobbie Earnhardt discusses her memories of Billy Graham, whom she met when he was about nine years old, and the Graham family in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Earnhardt recalls attending Chalmers Memorial ARP Church alongside the Graham family, and the reasons why both the Grahams and Mrs. Earnhardt left to attend other churches. She recounts three Billy Graham revivals in Charlotte, the first of which was held in 1947, as well as earlier revivals in the region organized by Mordecai Ham and Billy Sunday.

Bobbie Earnhardt was a 75-year-old woman at the time of interview, which took place in her home in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Charlotte in 1921. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Charlotte Saw Mill.
