Helen Babington was a 69-year-old woman at the time of interview, which took place in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina in 1910. She was employed at Gaston College as a receptionist and as a trustee and vice-president of the Gaston County Museum of Art & History.
