Thomas Caldwell, Sr. was a 49-year-old man at the time of interview, which took place over the Zoom platform in Charlotte, North Carolina and Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina in August 1971. He was educated at Central Piedmont Community College, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and George Mason University.
