Topics include helping to educate her siblings; memories of one of her favorite teachers, Mrs. Littlejohn; her educational experiences at Barber-Scotia College, Johnson C. Smith University, and the University of Pittsburgh; and her career as a teacher at Rockwell Rosenwald School in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina beginning in the 1940s.
