Description

Elizabeth Sadler recounts her early life growing up on her family's farm in the small, rural section of northwestern Mecklenburg County known as Shuffletown during the 1920s-1940s. She shares memories of her mother cooking Sunday dinner and long days spent at church services at St. Johns Chapel Baptist Church. She also discusses how she met her husband and her continued dedication to working at the church as an adult, providing programs for the youth and senior church members.
