Documentary film recorded for UNC-TV. The film is about Dwayne Cantrell, a man living with AIDS, during the final stage and end of his life. It centers on Dwayne speaking to a group of teenagers about living with AIDS and how the disease can be prevented, which is interspersed with footage of Dwayne's parents and brother speaking about their experiences as close family members of a man dying of AIDS. Topics include frustration at the government over inaction in the HIV/AIDS crisis, the toll of AIDS on the body, AIDS and social stigma, AIDS education, and coming to terms with the end of life.
