Description

Note on back: "Elbert was known as a "conjure man," extremely reliable and the only person with a key to Rosedale before Alexander Price. The theory was no one would touch anything Elbert had. When he died he had at least one bank president praying at his bedside. He was very proud of his name Shands (South Carolina name)"
