Donna Thompson was a 19-year-old woman at the time of interview, which took place remotely via Zoom. She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was educated at UNC Charlotte where she studied Dance and Business and was employed as a lifeguard, a cashier, and a housing ambassador at UNC Charlotte.

UNC Charlotte student Donna Thompson shares her experiences of 2020. During this interview, Thompson discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic, fight for racial justice and presidential election have affected her personally. She recounts personal experiences and emotions that these events created for her as well as how they have allowed her to evolve.
