Dale F. Halton was an 80-year-old woman at the time of the interview, which took place in the J. Murrey Atkins Library at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1938. She was educated at Myers Park High School and Agnes Scott College and was employed as CEO of the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Ms. Dale F. Halton discusses her acquisition of the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte and her experiences as a female CEO in the Charlotte business community in the 1980s.
