The Asheville-Weaverville Speedway was located near Weaverville, North Carolina. This track was home to Grand National and Winston Cup NASCAR races during the mid-twentieth century. Asheville-Weaverville Speedway was a .5 mile oval track falling under the category of short track. The track opened in 1951 as a dirt track and was later paved.
